I've been a long time fan of Sedona Spa at Los Abrigados Resort & Spa. It's a great place to take a yoga class, sit in the jacuzzi and then go for a facial, massage or body wrap. Until recently, it's been one of the only finer spas in town, so these guys have been around for a while and they know what they're doing.
You won't be disappointed with any service here, I've tried them all. If you go for one of the wraps, a Desert Salt treatment is a perfect add-on for pure exfoliation. If you're looking for a great facial, go for the deep pore cleansing, it's worth the extra $10 for the additional time and deeper treatment. The manicures are great but do go somewhere else for a pedicure, theirs is too pricey for what you get. Of course I've tried the waxing (as always) and you're sure to be pleased with the attention to detail and level of skill. And a true sign of a good place is when the therapists have stick-around factor. Other than the manicurists, the estheticians and massage therapists have been long-time employees of the spa and are among the best in Sedona.
The spa and fitness center is nothing fancy, but it is clean, well kept and the teachers are top-notch. You'll find a complete offering of strength training and cardio machines as well as free weights, and some of the cardio equipment can even be found on the outside balcony so you can admire the Sedona landscape while you work out.
Finally, what I really like about Sedona Spa at Los Abrigados is that even though all the regular members know each other and I, being the only stranger, am obviously a tourist, everyone is friendly, which really makes it nice, considering I've been snubbed by members at other such facilities (but that's another show).
